Review
We had so much fun at the Recital Centre today – all up we spent over three hours playing and exploring! During this time we watched a show (Invisible Me which went for 40 minutes), made a tower with cardboard boxes, climbed stairs covered in bubble-wrap, had faces painted, listened to sounds, drew with sound, raced cars and peeked into little houses… it was only the promise of an ice-cream and two grumbling tummies that got us out the doors. If you are looking for something to do make a beeline for the Melbourne Recital Centre – the Festival only goes for three days so get in quick.
Invisible Me was a fun story about a Emu chick and exploring the idea of camouflage in different animals. As a performance held in the Salon (as opposed to the Hall) it’s incredibly intimate – the kids loved having interaction with the performers and seeing the instruments up close. Thank you Melbourne Recital Centre for the complimentary tickets to Invisible Me.

Music Play is a fantastic event – it should go for a whole week
