Activities and adventures for mini architecture fans during the Open House Melbourne weekend, 27/28 July 2013.
So not only do mums and dads get to celebrate some of Melbourne’s best architecture, satisfy their hunger for knowledge and have the opportunity to see behind the doors of 111 of our cities landmarks that are taking part in Open House Melbourne 2013 – more than half of these venues are family friendly to visit and the ten activities for mini architects highlighted below provide an engaging experience for the kids.
Grab the kids a FREE children’s activity book as part of the Open House Melbourne weekend (designed by the guys at Studio Pounce) from the OHM info hub outside the Melbourne Town Hall or from any of the locations running kids programs (listed below) over the OHM weekend. All the activities, puzzles and games have been designed to encourage engagement with the city, its buildings and public transport.
Meetoo is thrilled to be the media partner supporting the children’s program – sharing our love for architecture, design and our wonderful city is something we are really passionate about, add to that a fantastic FREE kids program you can journey to on a tram; this very accessible program ticks lots of Meetoo boxes.
Sharpen your pencils (for the children’s activity book) and get your smart phones ready – we can’t wait to see everyone join in the conversation at #OHMkids, plus there is a free OHM2013 app you can download which is full of useful (and live) tips… like which places have the longest queues and an interactive map so you can pre-plan your day.
