It’s HIGHLY recommended book your session time in advance via the website online booking system – as we witnessed by the time our 12-1pm session came to an end the place was suddenly really busy. Also there is a maximum number allowed in the venue at one time so you wouldn’t want to turn up and find it fully booked.
There is also a minimum height on weekends and school holidays – 110cm. Charlie (4) just scrapped in. During the week between 10am – 3pm children under 110cm (aged 3+) are welcome.
Sessions start on the hour every hour.
We went with some friends and the kids had an absolute ball.. after a 10 second hesitation they were off and charging around for a full hour… at the end of our session they were slightly sweaty and very flushed! Although maybe the kids might be a bit warm bouncing in long pants they have more protection from minor scrapes on the trampolines when landing at high speeds.
My friend Tracy and I both agreed – how much better than a grotty play centre! And with a 1 hour booking you have a beginning and an end. And next time we’re going to get in on the fun too… those foam pits look ace, and there were loads of teenagers and adults getting into the action. Actually there were only a few littlies – thankfully there is a dedicated section of the free jumping arena for little kids.
The cafe had really yummy looking food on offer, with the most expensive item $8.50 it was really reasonable. We had a coffee and it was really decent.
My daughter broke her arm at the Glen Iris venue and the staff there admitted that the ATPA Audits are “bullshit”. That organisation was formed by Bounce. They try to cut corners all the time while posing as the most safety conscious company in the world… Disgusting.
Hi Emma,
I am so sorry to hear about your daughter – your note really worried me as we’ve always had a wonderful time there, so I contacted Bounce to see what they had to say. Here is their response: Please ask them to pass on their contact details or get in touch with us via our Contact Centre (1300 000 540). Obviously, we take these matters very seriously, so they need to be processed through the necessary channels of our business (with our ultimate motivation being to find an appropriate resolution to any customer complaint).
I hope that helps. Kate

LOVE Bounce Inc. I reviewed a couple of months ago – http://melbournemum.com/2013/01/10/bounce-inc/ Love your photos! Kx
Thanks Kimberley! OMG my kids love this place.. we’ve been 5 times and also held my daughters birthday there last October. Can’t see anyone getting tired of this in a hurry 🙂 Thanks for sharing your review, I am yet to see anything negative said about this place!
Lucas (11) & Emily (9) and their friends the same age had a blast. We will definitely go again. Thanks for the tip!
This certainly looks cool – rather more ju ju than Don Bosco’s in Sydney Road!
Looks awesome! Next Date Night….The little one can wait!
It was great to see your review of Bounce. I took the kids a couple of weeks ago and they loved it! I love all your pics and tips too!
Thanks for the idea! We can’t wait to check it out soon for a friends party. Looks like great fun.
This looks great…the kids are keen to check it out next time we are in Melb!
Can’t wait to go here. Any idea if the height restriction applies to school holidays during the week??
Nic they do have Junior Jumper sessions during the holidays from 10am – 12 noon, but be sure to book online as the sessions are heavily booked for the holidays weeks in advance!
Hey cool, I want to go, forget the kids!
What a great idea! I think I’ll have to have a little look to see if they do parties…. For the kids of course….. Yes, definitely for the kids 😉
Yes they do do parties! Check out their website for all the details: http://bounceinc.com.au/parties/
Thanks for the Bounce review. My 4yo son loved it, great physical activity for a wet day…….not sure the foam pit is that mamma friendly, I sort of sunk to the bottom whilst my light and bouncy boy waited for me to emerge from the rubble 🙂
Danielle you will have to try the new covered pit they have installed at Glen Iris – no more sinking to the bottom 🙂
Oooh this looks fabulous! If only they were in Brissy!
Looks amazing! Can’t wait to check it out.
