Bust out your maracas, it’s twenty years since The Boy from Oz first took to the stage – and Australia’s first musical is returning to the stage at the Arts Centre in Melbourne for a limited season.

When: 11-26 August 2018

The Boy from Oz tells the funny and touching story of the dazzling Australian entertainer Peter Allen, from his humble beginnings to his meteoric rise to fame as an international star. Singing in country pubs from age 11, Peter Allen survived family tragedy to become a local TV star at age 16.  Discovered by Judy Garland, he married her daughter Liza Minnelli and went on to become a loved international star and an Oscar-winning songwriter.

Rohan Browne will star as Peter Allen and Caroline O’Connor returns to play the role of Judy Garland.

If you are the winner you will need to be available to attend the above performance (tickets are not transferable) at the Arts Centre Melbourne.  You will also need to claim your prize within 48 hours of being notified, otherwise the giveaway may be redrawn (at my discretion).  The winner will be chosen randomly (from those who have filled in their answer in the comments) after 10pm on Wednesday 1 August.

This giveaway is only open to Victorian residents aged 18 and above.  Travel to and from the performance is at the winners own cost.  Competition closes at 10pm Wednesday 1 August.  You can enter up to three times (once here, once on Facebook and once on Instagram).
