I took two seven-year-old boys with me to the preview performance of Cirque Adrenaline and they loved every minute. The clown was fantastic and had them in absolute stitches (and actually had them rolling off their seats onto the floor at one point!). The acrobatics were faultless and the stunts terrifying. A highlight for me was the incredible balancing Rolla Bolla act – I have never seen anything like it!
The show is two hours long (including 20 minutes for an interval) making it very doable for audiences aged 5+.
My only niggly comment would be that the music was loud (think Vegas-style circus soundtrack) and so this could possibly be off-putting if you have little ones who don’t enjoy loud performances.
More details from the media release:

Each performer has been handpicked from among the best circus entertainers around the world, including Russia, China, South America, Africa and Europe, creating a new genre of show that blends traditional circus acts with the new guaranteeing to keep the whole family on the edge of their seats.
Acts include clowns and hair-raising fire acts, daredevil motorcyclists who narrowly miss each other in the Sphere of Fear, Wheel of Death performances, trapeze artists, high bars and aerial silk, plus a whole host of others all promising danger and excitement.
Producer Simon Painter, who is no stranger to producing heart-pounding shows, says Cirque Adrenaline does not stop to draw breath.
“Imagine if you took all the finales from the greatest circus and acrobatic spectaculars from around the world and then brought them together into one extravaganza – that is Cirque Adrenaline.”
Thank you for your feedback – it was too loud for me as well (which I mentioned in my review also). I can imagine front row seats would be FULL ON! Adrenaline junkies only!
We went with 7 y.o and 10 y.o, it was amazing and breathtaking but for all of us (two adults included) it was just too full on. The noise and the nail biting edge of your seat stuff turned out not to be our bag. My 7 y o didnt want to go back in after interval bc she was worried that the clown may call upon her to participate (we had the very front row seats, we ended up gratefully swapping seats with a couple behind us but my poor miss still cried and hid on the floor. I suggest avoiding this for anyone who has sensory issues, we were all nervous wrecks by the time we walked out.
