Comedy Club for Kids is the perfect way to give the kids a taste of the Melbourne International Comedy Festival.

When: Tuesday – Sunday at 12.30pm until Sunday 12 April

Just outside the Arts Centre is The Famous Spiegeltent and during the Easter holidays there is a kids show at  12.30pm each day with a taster of some of the best comedy shows on offer. MC Justin Sane did some amazing things with his hat, and a few magic tricks as well.

Josh Earl, who’s show is called My Family is Weirder Than Yours had us in stitches with his songs about the teachers bad breath, what happens if you don’t eat your veggies, and sibling rivalry. The highlight was the phone call to his nanna.

Frehd the Clown was also hilarious and had the kids enthralled.

Womanz (Tessa Waters) seemed out of place at a kids show at first.  But buy the end she had every kid, boys and girls, up and grooving and learning a new dance.  Took the parents back to their 80’s and 90’s nightclubbing days.

A great way to get a taste of the comedy festival for a reasonable price, and keep the kids attention.

The show runs for approximately 60 minutes and is designed for kids aged 6-12.
