“I got a feeling whooo hoo! Shout out Hooray!!! Shimmy Shimmy Shake. You can do it!” Was the message of the day when all our Sesame Street favourites got together on stage for Elmo’s Super Fun Hero Show. “Today is superhero superfun day.”
Each of Elmo’s friends has been given a super-power cape from Abby Cadabby (who already sports her own wings to fly). Elmo in a yellow cape, Super Grover in a red cape, The Count in his green cape, Zoe in a jade cape and newcomer Super Miss Sparkleheart in a purple cape and each has a super mission to become certified everyday heroes.
It’s all about superheroes, super fun and life-lessons discovering your own hidden super powers such as sharing, cooperating, kindness and caring, patience, tolerance and of course friendship. A musical journey, with super positive messages including Big Birds Breathe In – Breathe Out, Cookie Monsters Me Want It, Me Wait, popular Sesame St songs and even upbeat tunes you may recognise from modern day beats.
Little people aged 18mths – 4.5 yrs will be sure to clap, sing and dance. It’s loud and bright and mesmerising.
The audience is families, and lots of toddler siblings – so be prepared for babies everywhere.
“Now don’t forget: it feels so good to be kind, so use your body and use your mind, be an everyday hero showing kindness and caring each day.”
