Review
Inside The Brick is such a great venue; offering parties, workshops and general free play with LEGO. We had a wonderful time exploring and making and creating.
Just around the corner (opposite Fairfield Station) is a number of fab cafe’s so you can grab your morning tea en route.
Throughout the space are display cabinets filled with vintage (and current) LEGO sets to decorate the room – there were quite a few sets from my own childhood that I really enjoyed seeing again!
The space is well set up with loads of LEGO for the kids to go through (and it’s nice and clean). You can add individual pieces to the collection on the shelves around the room or continue works on the cityscape in the centre of the room.
There is a great toddler area with plenty of giant LEGO as well as duplo and toddler sized tables.
We enviously watched a group enjoying a birthday party so I wasn’t able to photograph the construction room – but I did have access to the party room for a photo (see above) before they finished their constructing.
While the price for Casual Play is $10/hour I didn’t see anyone being hurried out of there during our visit – so I suspect that unless it’s at capacity you’re probably afforded some grace to finish off your project.
The gift shop is run separately by a LEGO enthusiast/collector/seller – and so if you are looking for a specific set or piece then this is the guy to ask.
