"mini Bounce" at Bounce Inc
Parents of toddlers and preschoolers there is now a dedicated program for little ones on weekdays at Bounce! Bounce instructors lead preschoolers through a series of activities while parents look on.
Where: Bounce Inc, 2 Weir Street, Glen Iris
When: Monday to Friday, 10 – 11am and 11am – 12 noon
Cost: $16 for 3 – 5 year olds, click here to book online.
“mini Bounce” has been specifically designed for children who are Junior Jumpers – that is kinder and preschool aged. Mini bouncers are given a special “mini Bounce” vest (not shown in the photographs) so they are easily recognised. They are also lead through a structured skills development program run by Bounce instructors, the kids do all sorts of on tramp and off tramp activities.
The children love it and the parents can watch from the balcony with a coffee. At the end of their class the “mini” bouncers are primed for their afternoon nap (or quiet time).
The Junior Jumpers option is still available from 10am – 4pm on weekdays, but “mini Bounce” is a structured approach which gives the smaller kids a fun environment where they can take part in some activities and learn some new skills with the assistance of the Bounce staff, all while wearing their easy to identify vests. Also there is no height restriction on “mini” bouncers (Junior Jumpers must be no taller than 110cm).

Emma week days are much saner and the Instructor led classes are protected from the bigger kids as they are kept together in their little group – it’s a bit like a private birthday party without the party food afterwards!
Ing I love how everyone is much quieter after a solid hour of jumping 🙂
Thanks for this tip Kate – my little one was a bit timid when we went along with the big brother so we might do this on a school day (probably not as noisy and busy as the weekend either!) with some friends (so I have a coffee date!).
Love everything about Bounce – except when we have to leave, haha
