Muppets Most Wanted

Muppets Most Wanted

As the opening song says “We’re doing a sequel, we’re back by popular demand…” and they are going to do it all again.  The opening song starts the movie on a high.. and there is plenty of groan worthy gags (that only the Muppets can get away with) and cameos to keep the grownups amused – along with madcap story line and loveable characters the kids will be enthralled.

Review

In short: While on a grand world tour, the Muppets find themselves wrapped into an European jewel-heist caper headed by a Kermit lookalike and his dastardly sidekick.

Muppets fans are sure to love this latest instalment from the Muppets – plenty of madcap hilarity, completely surreal story lines and characters, toe tapping songs and a truck load of cameos.

I love the Muppets so naturally I wanted to love this film – and mostly I did!  It was however 2 hours long – which is fine for me, but incredibly long for younger children – the 8 year old was fine but my 5 year old was squirming for the last 30 minutes.  My 5 year old also had lots of questions – the ridiculousness of the plot was a little lost on him and so he had lots of questions about the Constantine (the Bad Frog).
