The NICA final year students have produced two different shows to allow all of the students time in the spotlight – without fatiguing their audience!  I went along on opening night and it was a spectacular performance.

Nail biting stuff and incredibly talented performances from the National Institute of Circus Arts (NICA) final year students of 2014 – I had to cover my eyes a couple of times!

This performance includes the introduction of an MC – the incredibly talented and amusing Aurora Kurth.

The annual Circus Showcase at NICA and the final year circus students have prepared a series of graceful, dynamic and captivating acts. The showcase, titled ROUGE et BLANC, runs until July 5 at the custom built National Circus Centre in Prahran.

This year, two distinct cabaret-style performances have been created, one called ‘ROUGE‘ and the other ‘BLANC‘. Each show will be performed three times throughout the six show season and will feature half of NICA’s 20 final year students presenting their circus specialties in a unique and diverse way. Attend one (or both) shows to see the incredible range of talent from Australia’s future circus stars!
