Big and little automotive fans will find something to love at Outside The Oval – a collection of art and design pieces produced by the Ford Design Melbourne team in their spare time.  When you visit the exhibition you can check out the teams group piece – the 2014 Falcon (the last to be produced in Australia) was unveiled at the exhibition opening last night.

2014 Ford Falcon XR8

Last night (Friday 3 October, 2014) the exhibition Outside The Oval was launched.  The exhibition is filled with 36 personal works that showcase the Ford Design teams love and obsession with all things automotive, as well as the teams group piece – the 2014 Falcon XR8.

Be quick – this exhibition is only running for two days!  Hopefully it’s the beginning of more design celebration to come; while it’s incredibly sad that manufacture is in its twilight days (hours?) in Australia – it’s fantastic to see an iconic brand such as Ford celebrating our local design talent and cementing our reputation as the “clever country”.
