Smash @ Officeworks in 2019
Just in time for the return to school Smash has launched it’s latest range at Officeworks – with a solution to suit everyone from kindergarten through to executive!
Where: Officeworks, various locations!
Cost: From $9.96
We are longtime fans of the Smash range… from the every day Nude Food Movers through to the lunch bags. The team at Smash has sent us their favourites from the Officeworks range to test out and share with you…
The Fridge: Ultimate Cooler ($19.98)
The Fridge boasts 7 hours of cooling thanks to its insulation layers, closed zipper and removable gel ice compartments. Built to fit Smash lunchboxes, this insulating lunch bag will keep the kids (or your) lunches cool all day – especially reassuring if your child’s lockers are out in the elements during summer! With food safe lining and (as always) BPA free materials, there is a lot to love about this ultimate mini esky!
10 Piece Pack: the complete lunch solution ($9.96)
This pack is a fantastic kit that covers off on everything, from sandwich through to snacks (and even room to fit an apple). With two gel ice packs included you also have the peace of mind that your child’s lunch will stay nice and cool.
Bento Switchup ($14.99)
The insulating (removable) skin helps keep the contents cooler for longer. I love the removable dividers (the bigger one can be positioned to suit your sizing needs!) making this lunchbox so easy to clean and versatile in the configurations.
Nude Food Movers: 4 Piece Pack ($12.96)
All three containers come together to pack a decent lunch as a collection, or individually super useful sizes and configurations. The largest (Wrap & Roll) container comes with a removable ice pack which can be frozen to provide some chill in summer, or just used as a divider.
Curious to know how much plastic you could save if you switched to making your food “nude”? We conducted a surprising experiment, read about it here.

Hi Danielle,
Thanks for sharing your feedback. We tested our “Fridge” out a few times over the holidays when we went out on a hot day and I can’t say we had a drop of condensation on the outside of the box…. we had some on the inside – but given the ice packs were in the lunchbox that was to be expected (I had a piece of paper towel in there that coped with the condensation- I didn’t consider it excessive or any different to any ice pack I have used before). I will let the team at Smash know and see if they have any other advice…
I bought 3 of the ultimate fridge cooler bags, and they all leak condensation on the outside of them. Ruined brand new school books…Very disappointed…have now $60 worth of brand new useless lunch bags, and no way to carry lunch to school.
