2019 Footy Festival: a free celebration of the Toyota AFL Finals from 25 September – 28 September.
Located at Yarra Park outside Gate 3 of the MCG, the Footy Festival will feature player appearances, giveaways, music and some of Melbourne’s best food trucks. Children can experience the MILO Kids Zone and run, jump, laugh and get messy exploring the awesome AFL Obstacle Course, Woolworths AFL Playground and Nintendo Interactive Zone. EAST MELBOURNE
National Sports Museum: These holidays you’ll have the chance to meet players from the AFL & AFLW who’ve played in a Grand Final. You’ll get to hear about the excitement of the day and what it’s really like to compete for the flag. September 30 – October 4 (10.00am and 11.30am). Book ahead advised. EAST MELBOURNE
