Think Like An Architect: Join Associate Victorian Government Architect Jill Garner as she exposes the process of design.
This activity will inspire and challenge, to look at the world through a designer’s eyes. Kids aged 10-16 will see how to meet a brief, and will work as part of a design team using communication skills that explore issues of the client, end user, site, context and function to find a design solution. You must pre-register for this event via the OHM website, click here.
For Budding Historians: In ‘The Academy’ at NAB, there will be a fun activity designed to show the history of Melbourne and the development of Docklands’ urban landscape. Kids are invited to gather information from participating OHM sites around Docklands and apply their findings to an interactive timeline.
When: Saturday and Sunday 10am to 4pm
Where: NAB Headquarters, Docklands, no bookings required.

Love Open House, missed last year but went the year before – the kids program looks great
Last year we went along almost by accident and late on the Sunday – this year armed with all the Meetoo listings we know which stops to make the focus of our day… I am thinking Docklands with a stop at the LEGO on Saturday and Mounted Police and ArtPlay on Sunday… so many great options, thanks Meetoo!
