The Skate Space in St Kilda offers skating with a view – marina, bay and city skyline make this a nice spot to soak up some rays and keep an eye on the kids as they take their scooters for a spin.  Be warned – if it’s a bit of a windy day anywhere else then it’s very likely that it will be blowing a gale down at the Marina Reserve (not that the kids care).

With toilet facilities, a playground and BBQ with covered picnic area this is a handy spot that caters to different ages.  Easily accessed by the foreshore bike paths – so a quick scooter ride to more amenities like Luna Park and dining options.
