A kid and a camera – Birrarung Marr
Melbourne is the best city in the world. I am completely and utterly biased; although I have lived elsewhere and it was fun (and I left many dear friends and family behind) I never for a heartbeat have found another city in my travels that has captured my heart more. It’s fun to play tourist in your hometown – but it’s also fun to experience it through the eyes of your child. Imogen (8) decided to play Roll Around The Block on a trip into town, wandering along the Yarra through Birrarung Marr Park and finishing up at Hisense Arena, where we saw something interesting – there is always something interesting happening around the next corner in Melbourne.
Roll Around The Block is now part of the NGV’s summer blockbuster exhibition Melbourne Now – and you are invited to come and join in the fun. Include your child’s photo’s in the virtual gallery and they will go in the running to be on display at the NGV in January 2014. For all the details CLICK HERE.

Mr Little took this shot above in a roll while he was watching hot air balloons at dawn and it was a truly gentle start to the day. For more Roll Around the Block inspiration, you could also check out our friends at Meetoo who recently did a Roll Around the Block at Birrarung Marr. […]
